IMPORTANT INFO: Please read the following guide BEFORE your visit.

**********Pinehaven is a NO SMOKING cabin.**********
The Upper street parking area and driveway are both for your use. Please be aware that if there is snow, snowplows might be in use. Please use all smoking devices/cigars/cigarettes at least 10 feet away from cabin.
​UPON ARRIVAL

Winter
Turn the heater up (thermostat in Living Room)
Plug in the bedroom heaters, turn on the first switch and turn the dial up HALFWAY only, or you will trip the circuit breakers (and it’s noisy)
Make sure the kitchen sink faucet is not frozen. If it is, just turn the hot water on low, and it will eventually thaw (only freezes if the air is less than 10 degrees)
Summer
Fans are located upstairs. Air flow is best with the windows open and fans running. AC units may be in use.
UPON DEPARTURE

Unplug the heaters. fans, and/or AC unit. Turn the wall thermostat down to 55 degrees.
Close windows and curtains.

Bring sleds and snow shovels inside the cabin.
Remove all trash. We have trash barrels outside for you to deposit all trash. You will be charged $25 per bag if it is left inside, as this is what our housekeeper charges us. If you are at the cabin on a Tuesday, please roll the cans to the street for pickup. Thx!
Wash, dry, and put away dishes. You will be charged $50 if you don’t, as this is what housekeeping charges..
Lock the back door and the front door. Keep the porch light on.
*1 -2 dogs are permitted-no cats.
There is a small, low fenced area in the backyard.
Please clean up after your pet.

**Please provide your own firewood.

Lakeview Market, 40133 Big Bear Blvd.
***Coffee & filters, hot cocoa, salt and pepper, linens, towels, dish soap,
hand soap, and paper products are provided for your use.
WI-FI password is on the modem in the dining room.
Outdoor security cameras in use.
